Soup recipes for filling yet frugal meals.Soup recipes for filling yet frugal meals.
Soups a great, warming comfort food, and they can also be incredibly light on the wallet. They  tend not to be labour intensive, other than preparing the ingredients and so therefore are my personal favourite for cooking. Making soups are a great way to use previously cooked left-over meats, like any left-over chicken from a roast.

In this section you will find a variety of recipes which will warm you up and give you plenty of comfort on those winter evenings. They are also freezable, so you can microwave them at a later time, if you don't eat all the servings that day. These recipes are gluten-free, but just change the ingredients to gluten ingredients if you are not ceoliac.

Soups are a healthy, nutritious meal for so many of us. In addition it is a meal of convenience, which suits so many of our lifestyles today. But first it has to be made. So you can either buy shop bought, in a tin or container of some-kind from your local shop, or you can make your own. Linked, is a great article to convince you why you should make your own, the benefits it can bring, and how to use waste peelings effectively, here.

This page provide all the various soup recipes you might like to try out:
