Natural basic hair shower gel recipe. |

This recipe has a shelf life of two months and can be a combination of both a hair shampoo and a shower gel. It is particularly good with hair loss and leaving hair feeling thicker. Why not separate the batch in to both a shampoo and a shower gel and add the best essential oils for your needs by looking at essential oils and your hair page and essential oils and your skin page. You can add the used ingredients to your compost in your garden after you have finished making this recipe.
Ingredients:
A half portion of the shampoo solution made in this recipe
1 tbsp of vegetable glycerine
1 1/2 tbsp pink Himalayan rock salt
1 tbsp organic aloe vera gel
2 drops grapefruit seed extract
Recipe:
1/ Gently heat half the shampoo solution you have made and mix the vegetable glycerine with it.
2/ Take off the heat while hot and add the salt stirring until dissolved.
3/ Add the aloe vera gel.
4/ Allow to cool.
5/ Add the grapefruit seed extract.
6/ It will be a runny shower gel. Not very thick.
