Natural basic hand cream recipe. |

Apply this light, penetrating cream every time the hands have been in water. This will help relieve chapping and redness which happens after washing-up. For more deep moisturising try this rich moisturising cream recipe.
Ingredients:
2 tbsp white beeswax
3 tsp anhydrous lanolin
3 tsp cocoa butter
2 tsp avocado oil
2 tsp liquid paraffin
2 tsp glycerine
2 tbsp orange-flower water
½ tsp borax (optional)
4 drops essential sandalwood oil
Recipe:
1/ In a basin, dissolve the borax (optional) in the orange-flower water.
2/ Melt the wax, lanolin and cocoa butter separately and measure them into a second basin over a pan of simmering water.
3/ Blend in the paraffin and glycerine and remove from heat.
4/ Stir continuously, adding in the sandalwood and orange-flower water.
5/ Continue stirring until the mixture cools and begins to thicken.
6/ Transfer the cream to a screw-topped jar.
How to use:
Rub the cream into your skin, leave for a few minutes, then gently wipe away any excess cream.
