Natural Hair Lightening Conditioner Recipe. |

After I removed my dark brown hair colour which I had done at home with a shop bought colour, I decided now was the time to embrace my natural hair colour and find natural ways to highlight it. Even though box colours are generally very cheap, the costs still add up as you have to maintain the colour. I started dying my hair because I had a few grey hairs. Several hairs. That was it. And I'm starting to wonder if perhaps I should embrace that small patch of grey. The question for me is whether constant dark hair dye will mean one day I will have to do the old grannie thing by finally accepting my grey when I can't keep up with the roots, and cutting my hair off to let the grey grow through. Perhaps instead I can still enjoy my long hair but as grey long hair.
Fortunately, I appear to take after my dad, who really didn't start getting grey hair until his seventies. In that case, I thought it was possibly better to go back to light brown hair and use some natural products to bring natural highlights to my hair. This way the single group of greys could possibly be mistaken for highlights. I'm not sure but it is what I am hoping for.

Apply once a week to damp hair, completely covering the hair. Leave it on for at least 30 mins and wrap your hair in clingfilm to ensure the heat helps absorb the nutrients quicker.
I personally leave mine on over night, wrapped up in clingfilm and additionally wearing a thermal shower cap on top. This leaves my hair looking shiny and healthy.
