Combining chamomile, calendula and lemon juice will bring out the natural highlights in your hair in a natural way. It is always good to know the ingredients you apply to your skin and hair so as to be sure of what it is you are applying, if you have any allergies and also to get a better understanding of that ingredient.
Here is the recipe for a quick rinse you can end your hair washing with. Using it cool or cold with add extra shine to your hair;
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons dried chamomile or 2 chamomile tea bags
3 tablespoons dried calendula
500ml (16fl oz) water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Recipe:
1/ Bring the chamomile, calendula and water to the boil.
2/ Remove from the heat, allowing to steep until cool.
3/ Strain the liquid and add the lemon juice.
4/ Pour 125 ml (4fl oz) of the rinse after using shampoo and conditioner.
5/ Store excess rinse in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
6/ For further lightening, apply some natural hair lightening spray to damp hair before drying.
